MaineIncome Shares Model

Maine uses the Income Shares model under 19-A M.R.S. §2006. Both parents' gross incomes minus certain deductions give adjusted gross income. The combined amount determines the basic obligation. Shared parenting adjustments apply when each parent has at least 30% of overnights.
